UGC NET Result 2025 Declared: Download Scorecard, Check Cut-off Marks and Qualification Details

UGC NET Result 2025 OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the UGC NET December 2025 results on Thursday. Candidates who appeared for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) can now check and download their scorecards from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET December 2025 Cut-off Highlights

According to the data released by NTA, the highest cut-off marks for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) were recorded as follows:

  • 248 marks – Unreserved category (Prakrit subject)
  • 244 marks – Buddhist and Jaina Studies
  • 240 marks – French version subject

The results have been published in PDF format, displaying subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks for:

  • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
  • Assistant Professor
  • PhD Admission (Only)

UGC NET 2025 Qualification Statistics

As per the official figures released by NTA:

  • 5,141 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
  • 59,821 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor
  • 1,17,058 candidates qualified for PhD only

Additionally:

  • 5,108 candidates qualified for both JRF and Assistant Professor
  • 54,713 candidates were declared eligible for Assistant Professor and PhD admission
  • 17,058 candidates qualified only for PhD admission

UGC NET December 2025 Exam Details

The UGC NET December 2025 examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects.

  • Total Days: 6 days
  • Total Shifts: 11
  • Exam Centres: 663 centres
  • Cities Covered: 283 cities across India

Candidate Participation:

Gender-wise Registration Data

The number of female candidates was the highest among all applicants:

  • Female Candidates: 5,85,400 (58.91%)
  • Male Candidates: 4,08,245 (41.08%)
  • Third Gender Candidates: 57

will receive their eligibility certificates and JRF award letters through the National Testing Agency (NTA) portal.
