TS ICET 2026 Exam Pattern and Qualifying Marks
The TS ICET 2026 examination will consist of three sections, designed to evaluate candidates on the following parameters:
- Analytical Ability
- Mathematical Ability
- Communication Ability
The test will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. To qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 50 marks (25 per cent).

Eligibility for MBA Admission
Candidates applying for MBA programmes must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years duration in any of the following streams:
- B.A
- B.Com
- B.Sc
- BBA
- BBM
- BCA
- BE
- B.Tech
- B.Pharmacy
- Any other 3-year or 4-year degree
(Degrees in Oriental Languages are excluded)
Eligibility for MCA Admission
For admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme, candidates must have completed:
- BCA / B.Sc / B.Com / B.A
- Mathematics must have been studied either at the 10+2 level or during graduation
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General (Unreserved) category candidates: Minimum 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination
- Reserved category candidates: Minimum 45 per cent marks
Important Exam Day Instructions
Candidates appearing for TS ICET 2026 must report to the examination centre before the commencement of the test. Late entry may not be permitted.
The notification also warns that impersonation or unfair practices during the examination are punishable offences. Individuals found guilty may face imprisonment ranging from 3 to 7 years, with or without a fine between ₹5,000 and ₹20,000.
