Eligibility Criteria for AIBE XXI (2026)
1️⃣ Final-Year Law Students
Students currently pursuing the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LLB programme from:
- A BCI-accredited university, or
- A college affiliated with a BCI-approved and recognised university,
are eligible to apply, provided they do not have any pending backlogs from previous semesters.
2️⃣ Law Graduates Awaiting Degree
Candidates who have:
- Successfully completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB programme, and
- Are awaiting issuance of their degree certificate
are also eligible to apply for AIBE 21, provided the institution is recognised by the Bar Council of India.
AIBE 21 Exam Pattern 2026
The All India Bar Examination is no longer conducted as a traditional open-book examination. However, candidates are permitted to carry Bare Acts without any comments or annotations.
